TOP 5: THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH SONGS

Thousand Foot Krutch has been one of my favorite bands for years, and have been around since 1995, with their prime radio era being around 2007-2014. they are still going strong today and some of their newest songs, (which are a year old now), have reached almost 300,000,000 views on YouTube. Here are my favorite songs by them.

5. LIFELINE

Off their latest album, “Lifeline” is a fast pace rocker with Heavy guitars and high-pitched vocals that stands out from most of their other stuff. This song has become a fan-favorite since it’s release last year, being my favorite song off of that album, followed by “Born Again” and “Running With Giants”.

4. WHAT DO WE KNOW

One of their slower songs, “What Do We Know”, is a song driven by Trevor McNevan (or TRawk)’s vocals. with a Children’s choir at the end and an “Strat” sounding electric guitar with clean notes an great drumming that power this song.

3. PUPPET

One of the earliest songs to ever come from TFK, or earliest song that still has recognition today by the band and it’s fans, because no one really knows or likes the debut album That’s What People Do, I don’t even think the Band even likes it. I know what your thinking though… HOW ON EARTH IS THIS YOUR THIRD FAVORITE SONG BY THEM? THIS SOUNDS LIKE GARBAGE! and is that the Seinfeld theme I hear? Well it does sound like garbage… Until you hear what they do to it in the remastered/Live version a few years back:

2. FALLS APART

Well, that video was creepy… “Falls Apart”, despite it’s disturbing video, is one of their most popular songs to date, releasing in 2007 on The Flame in All of Us, (Which is a good album, with songs like Favorite Disease and What Do We Know), featuring heavy guitars, a good bass line in the verse, lots of shouting, and a good message, this was the best song that the band had ever made, at least until The End is Where We Begin was released in 2012

1. WAR OF CHANGE

“War of Change” is in my opinion, the best Thousand Foot Krutch song which has also been a sports anthem for WWE and the NBA, with a fast mini-rap in the verse and some great guitar and bass, as well as good vocals by McNevan, this is the epic bridge and culmination of everything they have done (excluding the following album Oxygen: Inhale, which they tried something new, and it kinda fell flat on their face, it’s not as bad as it gets credit for, more on that in a later post), anyways it really shows their improvement from Set it Off to Welcome to the Masquerade. Also a fan favorite.

There are tons of great songs by Thousand Foot Krutch, these are just my personal favorites, they have in fact been one of my favorite bands since they had major radio breakthrough in 2009. Here is a drawing I did of Trevor McNevan, the lead singer of the band:
